I studied art at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. I've been painting cats for a long time. Artwork has always been my favorite activity and watercolors are my favorite medium. I live with my husband, Gary, our daughter, Jane, and our three cats, Sam, Milk Shake and Persephone in a nice country setting in the Willamette Valley. We also have a Border Collie named Sky, a Boxer named Zeek and some goldfish. It seems quite crowded at times.
I learned to paint with watercolors while studying art at Oregon State University. I had some great teachers there and now I have had the opportunity to teach others my technique.
Using the internet to display and sell artwork has been wonderful. I can easily reach all the people who are interested in my work, anywhere in the world.
